The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading non-profit healthcare organization in Southern California to hire dependable Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) to support exceptional patient care across multiple Company sites by assisting dentists and addressing patient needs and concerns. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for treatment, assisting with restorative dentistry and oral surgery procedures, preparing materials and equipment, taking X-rays, assisting with laboratory work, and providing administrative, operational, and clinical support (scheduling appointments, answering phones, ordering supplies, and processing dental billing) as needed.
Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional patient experience & address patient concerns
Pass instruments & materials to the dentist during procedures and maintain a clear treatment field using suction & other devices
Maintain a clean, sterile treatment environment & disinfect operatories per ADA guidelines
Obtain, review & update patient dental & health histories including care slips
Escort patients throughout the visit & maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
