About the position
Turning Point USA is seeking a highly skilled, professional, and motivated individual to assist in the nation’s largest and most innovative issue advocacy field operations. The Club America Field Representative is responsible for working specifically with Turning Point USA student groups and student activists to launch new chapters, maintain established chapters, organize daily campus initiatives, recruit new activists, and develop strong activist networks throughout their assigned territory. Field Representatives are also responsible for importing and organizing recruitment-related data, conducting outreach to prospective members and activists, giving oral presentations, representing the organization at events and conferences, promoting those events and conferences in the field and on social media, representing the organization and the efforts of our students on social media, managing the territory’s student activists, and developing new activism plans. Field Representatives also represent TPUSA in the community, focusing on spreading our message through public speaking, networking, and organizing. The ideal candidate can work collaboratively to ensure the success of chapters, activists, and the Field Program overall - while embodying company culture with the following traits: grassroots humility, warrior spirit, and persistent innovation.
Responsibilities
Launch new chapters
Maintain established chapters
Organize daily campus initiatives
Recruit new activists
Develop strong activist networks throughout their assigned territory
Import and organize recruitment-related data
Conduct outreach to prospective members and activists
Give oral presentations
Represent the organization at events and conferences
Promote events and conferences in the field and on social media
Represent the organization and the efforts of our students on social media
Manage the territory’s student activists
Develop new activism plans
Spread our message through public speaking, networking, and organizing
Requirements
Eagerness to build a strong personal brand
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various groups of people
Knowledge of project management software (Google Apps, Airtable, HubSpot)
Proficiency with social media platforms, such as X, Instagram, and Facebook
Passion for conservative ideals and principles
Flexibility and eagerness to learn in a dynamic work environment
Positive and goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and initiative
Reliable, punctual, and responsive, demonstrating ethical and responsible behavior
Receives and applies feedback constructively to improve performance
Effectively reports updates and progress to leadership in a timely manner
Innovative nature & desire to try new things
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without the need for constant supervision
Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned
Demonstrates the physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 15 lbs
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to locations as needed
A reliable mode of transportation
Proof of insurance when applicable

Past/present involvement in conservative youth organizations
Experience starting high school student organizations
Proven skills facilitating civic engagement and grassroots activism
