<strong>Job Title: </strong>Content Specialist - Amazon<br><br><strong>Role Summary<br><br></strong>Own the end-to-end development of our toy product line, from concept through production-ready handoff. You'll drive sourcing, design, costing, and supplier execution to bring competitive, profitable, safe products to market on schedule.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Manage the full product development lifecycle for assigned toy categories: concept, design, sampling, costing, and pre-production approval.</li><li>Source and qualify overseas suppliers (primarily Asia); negotiate pricing, MOQs, and tooling terms.</li><li>Build and maintain target costs; analyze landed cost (FOB, freight, duty/tariff) to hit margin requirements.</li><li>Partner with design/engineering on specs, materials, and packaging; review and approve samples for fit, function, and aesthetics.</li><li>Ensure compliance with U.S. toy safety standards (ASTM F963, CPSIA, CPSC) and coordinate required testing.</li><li>Manage development timelines and the sample approval process to meet retailer launch windows.</li><li>Collaborate with sales, sourcing, and QA; support retailer line reviews and customer presentations.</li><li>Track competitive products, pricing, and trends to inform the assortment roadmap.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years in product development, sourcing, or merchandising — toys, juvenile, or consumer hard/soft goods preferred.</li><li>Experience working with overseas factories and managing costing/negotiation.</li><li>Working knowledge of toy safety regulations (ASTM F963, CPSIA) a strong plus.</li><li>Strong project management; able to juggle multiple SKUs and deadlines.</li><li>Comfortable with cost sheets, spec sheets, and PD tracking tools.</li><li>Willingness to travel internationally (factory visits, trade shows).<br><br></li></ul>Salary $175,000<br><br>
