Dental Benefits Verification Specialist

A growing dental practice serving the Chicago, IL area is hiring a remote, direct hire Dental Benefits Verification Specialist to complete high volume dental insurance eligibility checks and benefits breakdowns from start to finish. The candidate must live in the Chicago area for training. Responsibilities include completing dental insurance eligibility and benefits verifications, performing detailed benefits breakdowns, contacting dental insurance carriers by phone to confirm coverage, entering accurate information into the practice's system, and independently managing assigned verifications while maintaining accuracy through a high volume. Preferred: two to three plus years of dental insurance benefits verification experience, dental insurance experience strongly preferred over medical, a strong understanding of dental insurance terminology, benefits, eligibility, and coverage, experience with multiple dental carriers and PPO plans, and Dentrix experience as a strong plus. Benefits include PPO health, vision, and dental, a 401k with company match plus 3 percent profit sharing, 80 hours PTO, 40 hours sick leave, and 6 weeks paid maternity and medical leave.
