We realized there had to be a better way to feed cats, so we created CatCrazy—a premium freeze-dried cat food company dedicated to giving cats the "first-class citizenship" they deserve. Today we're building much more than a cat food company—we're building a community of passionate cat lovers who want healthier, happier lives for their cats. We're looking for an experienced Klaviyo Email Marketing Expert & Customer Journey Specialist who wants to become an important part of our growing team. You'll work closely with our Founder and Creative Director to create email campaigns and automated customer journeys that educate, inspire, and convert. This is not a "set it and forget it" position. We're looking for someone who enjoys testing ideas, analyzing performance, improving results, and continuously making our customer experience even better. What we're looking for We're searching for someone who is: 🐱 A genuine cat lover (or at least someone who loves working with pet brands!) 📧 Highly experienced with Klaviyo and email marketing automation 📊 Comfortable analyzing campaign performance and turning data into better results ✍️ A strong writer who can create engaging, authentic content 🚀 A self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and bringing new ideas to the table 🤝 A team player who enjoys collaborating and communicating openly One thing that's especially important to us is communication. Deadlines occasionally move—startups are unpredictable! That's perfectly okay. We simply ask that you keep us informed along the way. Great communication helps our entire team succeed. If you have experience creating successful Klaviyo flows and campaigns, we'd love to see examples of your work. Please include a portfolio, case studies, screenshots, or any examples you'd be proud to share. This is currently an equity-compensated role until our next funding stage. Qualifications Expert knowledge of Klaviyo Strong understanding of Klaviyo Analytics Experience building high-performing email automation flows Experience with segmentation and customer lifecycle marketing Excellent copywriting skills Strong understanding of email marketing best practices Data-driven mindset Experience with A/B testing and optimization Excellent organizational skills Strong communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team Bonus Points ❤️ Experience working with DTC or eCommerce brands ❤️ Experience with Shopify ❤️ Experience in the pet industry ❤️ Graphic design experience (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) ❤️ Experience growing email revenue from the ground up Why Join CatCrazy?
