Job Description:

  • Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to achieve regional business goals and resonate with local communities
  • Bring the DICK’S brand to life through local activations during key sports moments
  • Deliver market intelligence for audience segmentation, messaging strategies, and media plans
  • Monitor and analyze competitive activity and activate proactive and defensive market-share strategies
  • Collaborate with the GO marketing team on locally resonant strategies and tactics for new store openings
  • Guide event planning, experiential activations, and brand-led experiences for House of Sport DICK’S Sporting Goods stores
  • Bridge national marketing and store teams, ensuring communication and local adaptation
  • Oversee local media strategies to amplify brand storytelling and drive store traffic
  • Build strategic relationships with youth, high-school, and collegiate sports organizations
  • Leverage proprietary assets to create differentiated experiences and deepen community ties
  • Activate national partnerships through tailored community experiences and grassroots efforts
  • Manage the tiered giving program within the territory
  • Represent the DICK’S Foundation by nominating organizations for grants and distributing approved grants
  • Support local grant giving and execution through the regional grant-giving budget
  • Manage partner and vendor relationships, events, and programs
  • Manage the field marketing budget and optimize ROI, efficiency, and innovation
  • Serve as a media-trained brand spokesperson for local press and brand storytelling
  • Participate in district cross-functional leadership, decision-making, store visits, meetings, and operating rhythms
  • Lead assigned Areas of Responsibility across priority field marketing initiatives
  • Champion the Loyalty program in stores and local communities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-year college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or Communications
  • 5-7 years of experience, including 3-5 years of related experience as a regional or company merchandise or marketing professional in a retail or multi-unit environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successfully pass comprehensive criminal background and motor vehicle checks
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability including some nights, weekends and holidays
  • Some travel within territory required
  • Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
