Conduct audits: Perform high-quality audits of government and public sector entities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Develop audit plans: Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive and effective audit plans tailored to the specific needs of each client. Lead audit engagements: Serve as the lead on audit engagements, managing a team of professionals to ensure timely completion of the audit and delivery of high-quality results. Review workpapers: Review the workpapers of team members to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards. Identify risks and issues: Identify potential risks and issues during the audit process and work with the team to develop solutions. Communicate with clients: Interact and communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on the audit progress, and address any questions or concerns. Provide recommendations: Analyze audit findings and provide recommendations to clients for improving their processes, controls, and financial reporting. Develop relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to promote the firm's reputation and identify new business opportunities. Stay updated on industry developments: Keep abreast of industry developments, changes in regulations, and emerging trends in government and public sector assurance. Mentor and train staff: Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles. Uphold professional standards: Adhere to professional standards, ethical codes, and internal policies and procedures at all times. Promote EY's brand: Represent EY's brand and values in a professional manner, both internally and externally.
