Licensed Practical Nurse Prior Authorization (LPN/LVN)

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Licensed Practical Nurse Prior Authorization (LPN/LVN) Remote.

License Practical Nurse Prior Authorization

The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour. Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service.

• Work hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST, with a 4-week modular training schedule.

Licensed Practical Nurse Prior Authorization Responsibilities

• Review and complete criteria-based prior authorizations according to policy and procedure.
• Provide on-call after-hours nurse support for urgent prior authorization requests.
• Support the prior authorization team and member services department with documentation and case management.
• Refer cases not meeting clinical criteria to the Pharmacist and MD teams for further review.
• Answer phone lines promptly, including escalated calls, within nurse phone queue.
• Serve as the final decision-maker on all prior authorization approvals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of calls and clinical information obtained.

Licensed Practical Nurse Prior Authorization Requirements

• Requires License for Practical Nurse or is eligible to sit for the Practical Nurse Licensure Examination.
• MUST HAVE prior authorization experience in an MDO or a clinical setting
• Proficient computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office products
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
