Membership Director – Digital Marketing, Communications Boards

Job Description:

• Research cutting-edge business issues and develop relevant discussion topics
• Facilitate valuable dialogue among senior leaders
• Lead one Digital Marketing & Communications Board: Social Media Board or AEO Board
• Guide peer conversations on social media, AEO, SEO, AI search, and discoverability
• Lead and facilitate high-level discussions through group conference calls, one-on-one member connections, in-person Board Meetings, and Fast Feedback email conversations
• Build deep professional and personal relationships with members
• Enforce confidentiality and membership qualification standards
• Partner with Member Operations to provide outstanding service, infrastructure, and supportive culture
• Manage membership account health and secure annual renewals

Requirements:

• Stellar communication skills in written, in-person, on-stage, phone, and social media formats
• Comfortable and natural leader of a group who can take charge of a room
• Ability to quickly connect with executives on a personal and professional level
• Experienced moderator and facilitator able to lead peer-to-peer executive discussions
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to work with sophisticated content, issues, policies, and ideas
• Ability to identify good stories, important topics, and great conversations
• Similar experience in content, policy, or issues work, or as a membership leader, community manager, moderator, or facilitator
• Experience working directly with Fortune 1000 executives (CXO, VP, Director) in a professional context
• Ability to develop deep subject matter expertise on complex business topics
• Advanced degree preferred
• Must currently reside in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Board.org participates in E-Verify
