The Senior Partnerships Manager, Microsoft is responsible for driving revenue growth through Deel's Azure Marketplace presence. This role owns the end-to-end Microsoft partnership - from strategic relationship management through deal execution with direct P&L accountability for marketplace revenue. Success is measured in closed deals and actual ARR generated through the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the strategic Microsoft partnership, including monthly business reviews, marketplace compliance, and annual re-certifications
  • Build and execute marketplace revenue strategy: identify target segments, develop deal playbooks, and forecast quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Source and close marketplace deals in partnership with Sales; provide deal support to remove procurement friction and accelerate closure
  • Manage MDF allocations and Marketplace Rewards tier advancement; develop annual MDF spend strategy across field events, co-marketing, and enablement
  • Optimize Deel's marketplace listing: maintain reference architecture validation, MACC alignment, and offer portfolio strategy
  • Analyze marketplace performance and competitive positioning; identify win/loss patterns and threats to revenue
  • Serve as escalation point for all Microsoft disputes, technical issues, and administrative requirements
  • Drive quarterly GTM strategy and present marketplace performance to leadership

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years in enterprise partnerships, business development, or revenue-focused partnership roles
  • Proven track record closing revenue through cloud marketplaces (Azure, AWS) or consumption-based models
  • Direct experience with marketplace operations, private offers, or Microsoft Partner Center
  • Demonstrated ability to manage strategic vendor relationships and complex enterprise negotiations
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers through deal closure and procurement acceleration
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to manage multi-stakeholder deals
