Walker Healthforce is seeking a Project/Program Manager II (Non-IT) with 7+ years of experience to lead and support cross-functional business programs, process improvement initiatives, and project delivery within a healthcare environment. This is a Contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Approved Work Locations: AZ, FL, GA, ID, IA, KY, MI, MS, NE, NM, NY (outside greater-NYC), OH, SC, TX, UT, WA (outside greater-Seattle), WI
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours; 8:00 AM-5:00 PM local time zone
Worker Type: W2

Core Requirements:

• 7+ years of program and/or project management experience
• Healthcare experience
• Operational process improvement experience
• Data analytics skills
• Experience with Microsoft tools
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience partnering with different levels of organizational leadership

We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:

• Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• PMP certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Comparable project/process improvement coursework

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage business programs and projects from planning through delivery.
• Develop and manage project schedules and support project budget activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, customers, and operational leaders.
• Translate business needs and goals into functional requirements.
• Identify and recommend operational process improvements.
• Support organizational change management initiatives.
• Develop business requirements, test plans, requirements traceability matrices, training materials, and related documentation.
• Generate and distribute scheduled reports.
• Coordinate with external vendors when applicable.
