Remote Accountant for Monthly Bookkeeping

We are seeking an experienced, dependable accountant for an ongoing, part-time remote role supporting three related companies, each with its own QuickBooks account.

You will take ownership of our established monthly bookkeeping and accounting processes, which are already well organized and largely automated. The current accounting firm will assist with the transition and provide the information needed for a smooth handoff.

Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate books, completing month-end reconciliations and close procedures, reviewing financial activity for accuracy, and producing timely monthly financial reports. You will work closely with our on-site accounts receivable specialist to resolve discrepancies and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.

The ideal candidate:

* Has strong QuickBooks experience

* Is comfortable managing multiple related companies

* Has experience with monthly reconciliations, closing, and financial reporting

* Communicates clearly and follows up proactively

* Is highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

* Can independently manage recurring deadlines in a remote environment
