Job Responsibilities
- Provide top‑class customer support to AmEx card participants with unforgettable travel experiences.
- Ask personalized questions to understand patron needs and deliver proactive, outstanding service via multichannel support.
- Develop travel expertise to assist travelers with itineraries, cancellations, re‑bookings, and exchanges.
- Troubleshoot travel‑related issues and guide customers on using the American Express travel website.
- Research, plan, and execute customized travel itineraries, including booking domestic and worldwide flights, car and resort travel.
- Assist card members in accessing unique benefits and maximizing loyalty rewards.
- Communicate current product offerings, fees, and relevant information to card members.
- De‑stress card members during unexpected travel situations and maintain focus on customer experience.
- Maintain a “Club First” mindset and promote loyalty.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide high‑quality customer support, preferably in a call‑center environment.
- Experience in hospitality, concierge, lifestyle services, high‑cease customer service, or sales roles.
- Travel reservation experience is a plus.
- Passion for building customer loyalty through attentive listening, rapport, and excellent support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Consultative skills and ability to offer confident guidance.
- Geographic knowledge and cultural awareness.
- Ability to recover from stress in a fast‑moving environment.
