ROV Pilot Technician I

<strong>POSITION:</strong> ROV Pilot Technician I<br><br><strong>REGION:</strong> Americas<br><br><strong>General Description<br><br></strong><ul><li> Minimum 1 years of offshore ROV / Trenching experience. </li><li> Offshore operation, data recording, maintenance and repair or the ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill system and ancillary equipment under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Duties / Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> To perform ROV operations as instructed and in accordance with approved procedures and Canyon QHSE Policy and Objectives </li><li> Stock-taking and inventory control of the system spares and consumables. </li><li> Maintain system and project records (e.g. inventory, weekly reports, dive logs, video logs, etc… under the direction of the Superintendent or Supervisor. </li><li> To conduct and maintain records of maintenance in compliance with Canyon Offshore Maintenance System. </li><li> To ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe. </li><li> To carry out other tasks as delegated by Canyon Project Manager or Superintendent / Supervisor </li><li> To cultivate and maintain a positive attitude. </li><li> To apply safe work ethics. </li><li> Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. <br><br></li></ul><strong>COMPETENCIES<br><br></strong><ul><li> Shall meet IMCA competence criteria by satisfactorily completing assessment as a Pilot/Technician Grade 1 with a nominal minimum of 1 year’s offshore experience and 100 hours piloting. </li><li> Shall possess extensive knowledge of current safety and quality standards as applied to systems and their requirements in an offshore environment. </li><li> Shall possess current HUET / BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf and passport. <br><br></li></ul>Canyon Offshore is hiring ROV technicians and supervisors with Perry (XLX/XLS) and Schilling (UHD/HD) experience.
