UI Front End Engineer- Trading Applications

<br><span></span><span></span>Our client, a financial firm building a next generation trading platform is looking for a Front End centric React Engineer to join the team in New York. You will be building from scratch. If that type of position interests you, this is your role.<br> <br> <strong> <u> Responsibilities</u> </strong><ul> <li> Design and build complex, workflow-driven user interfaces using TypeScript and React</li> <li> Develop scalable front-end architecture for large-scale trading systems</li> <li> Integrate UI components with backend services written mainly in .NET and real-time data systems</li> <li> Translate sophisticated trading and compliance workflows into intuitive, high-performance user experiences</li> <li> Drive performance optimization, maintainability, and architectural consistency across applications</li> <li> Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business-critical enhancements</li> </ul> <br> <strong> <u> Qualifications</u> </strong><ul> <li> Strong expertise in TypeScript and React</li> <li> Expertise building and maintaining tooling for TypeScript</li> <li> Experience building large-scale, production-grade front-end applications</li> <li> Deep understanding of UI architecture, state management, and performance optimization</li> <li> Experience integrating with distributed or real-time backend systems</li> <li> Product-oriented mindset: able to work directly with business users, gather requirements, and deliver practical, scalable solutions</li> <li> Experience designing applications that turn complex, real-time data into clear, actionable user experiences, with a strong focus on user productivity</li> <li> Ability to operate effectively in start-up type of environments without dedicated UI design support</li> <li> Experience in financial services and trading systems</li></ul>
