Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse/General Labor Associates to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational functions within our manufacturing and distribtution facilities, ensuring smooth material handling, equipment operation, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient production workflows, handling raw materials and finished products with care, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials or products
Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, sorting, stacking, and packaging of products
Follow safety protocols strictly to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards in production areas
Support inventory management by accurately recording material movements and maintaining organized storage areas
Participate in cleaning duties to uphold cleanliness standards in workspaces and equipment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting preferred but not required
Mechanical knowledge a PLUS
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety standards in production settings
Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, shipping carts or possibly forklifts
Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for lifting tasks
Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks
Commitment to following safety protocols diligently at all times
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
