General Laborer - Warehouse Operations

Location: Burlington, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Job Summary

Swipejobs is hiring General Laborers to support warehouse operations in Burlington, NJ. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse workflows by assisting with loading and unloading shipments, packaging products for distribution, replenishing inventory, and supporting general warehouse activities. This is a physically active role in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload boxes, cartons, and merchandise from trailers and shipping containers.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Restock inventory and organize merchandise within designated warehouse locations.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using manual pallet jacks.
• Verify product counts and assist with inventory control activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in a large warehouse environment.

Equipment and PPE Requirements

• No forklift operation required.
• Experience using pallet jacks is helpful.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required.
• Safety vest must be worn at all times while on the warehouse floor.

Schedule

• Multiple shifts available.
• 10-hour shifts.
• Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs.
