Warehouse Specialist

<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>TERREPOWER, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist. If you are a dedicated individual interested in joining a growing company in the automotive parts industry, we want you on our team!<br><br><strong>What You’ll Be Doing<br><br></strong><ul><li>Obtain products from Inventory and Inspection to fill orders and carefully identify information and quantities</li><li>Prepare containers for shipment and place items in correct containers, packing accordingly</li><li>Enter shipments into the computer system to generate a shipping ticket</li><li>Receives and unlo incoming materials and compares quantities shown on packing slips to items received</li><li>Inspects for damage, compares items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and documents discrepancies and report damaged goods to supervisor</li><li>Enter goods received into computerized inventory system according to instructions</li><li>Consistent and punctual attendance is required</li><li>Physical strength to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally</li><li>Labels, packs, and lo items for shipment according to specifications.</li><li>Pulling / pushing pallet of various size and weights with assistance of pallet jack to stage product for receiving or shipping </li><li>Overhead reaching and twisting to select and put away product from/to shelving</li><li>Repeatedly go up and down 25’ ladder carrying box weighing up to 20 lbs.</li><li>Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations</li><li>Participate in period end inventory counts as required performing accurate inventory counts and recording counts clearly as directed<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>General knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures</li><li>Ability to input data into computer system and create reports</li><li>Fed Ex and UPS familiarity preferred</li><li>Flexible, friendly and helpful disposition</li><li>Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Willingness to learn</li><li>Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills</li><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred </li><li>Other duties as assigned <br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.</li><li>Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. </li><li>Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.</li></ul>
