<strong>Job Description:<br><br></strong>Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with<br><br>lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull,<br><br>lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.<br><br><ul><li>Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards. </li><li> Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack<br><br></li></ul>and store product in the appropriate areas.<br><br><ul><li> Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products<br><br></li></ul>are loaded and shipped.<br><br><ul><li> Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or<br><br></li></ul>containers.<br><br><ul><li> Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality<br><br></li></ul>variances.<br><br><ul><li> Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security<br><br></li></ul>are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.<br><br><ul><li> Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count,<br><br></li></ul>stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.<br><br>Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service,<br><br>Transportation and Maintenance.<br><br><ul><li> Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process. </li><li> Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe<br><br></li></ul>conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.<br><br><ul><li> Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance<br><br></li></ul>when observed.<br><br><ul><li> Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. </li><li> Other duties as assigned. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Schedule: M-F 3:00PM to 11:30PM. OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED<br><br></strong><strong>Pay: $23/hr Plus $1.00 shift differential<br><br></strong><strong>#IND123<br><br></strong><strong>Requirements:<br><br></strong><ul><li> High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one or more years of related<br><br></li></ul>experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<br><br><ul><li> Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments. </li><li> Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.). </li><li> Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment<br><br></li></ul>(e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety<br><br>policies.<br><br>#IND123
